Tracy Berry was cleaning out her Trentham, Australia tavern's fireplace when she found what looked like a gold nugget. Thinking there was no way it was real gold she stashed it aside as a mere curiosity. Later - after showing it to a few friends, some who cried gold, some who cried fool's gold, she had it appraised. It turns out it was a 148 gram nugget of real gold worth around $5000. What a fireplace find!!!
